Each one of us is fighting our own battles.
And we may be unaware of what battle someone else is fighting.
Above all, founders and entrepreneurs are hit the hardest due to increasing uncertainty and lack of revenues.
The increasing uncertainty and lack of revenues affect the company, the team and their families.
It’s during these difficult times that freelancers should come across as blessings to the startup and business ecosystem.
As a freelancer, avoid being stubborn.
Stubbornness makes us:
– resentful of any normal ask or request
– rigid, and makes us focus only on ourselves & our needs
– maintain the status quo and unwillingness to budge from stated position.
Most of times our stubbornness is not because we are personally losing anything of consequence,
because it makes us feel powerful by refusing to do something for others.
But, there’s a time for everything.
And now… now is not the time to be stubborn.
Can you be a blessing to your client during these times?
