“Shreya, you are a student. Will you be able to write content for us?”
This is the first question all my prospects ask me.
It is of course a justified concern.
I am a full-time student.
How will I get the time to work for my clients?
How will I manage studies and work?
What will I do during exams?
At first when prospects asked me this question, I would think “Okay they are not going to get this done by a student…”
This thought led me to answering with a hundred different things, trying to justify myself to my prospects.
With time, I realised that no one cares HOW I work. All that matters is that I get the work DONE.
My new response?
“Yes, I can absolutely write content for you. I am writing for more clients who are very happy with the timely work! And of course, I love writing and I am committed to it.”
The next question is:
‘Shreya, what about during exams?’
“I will share the required content well in advance. Your post schedule will be on track.”
That’s it. That’s all the prospect wants to know from me.
Can I work? Yes.
During exams? Yes, in advance.
And now, most of these prospects have turned into long-term clients!
How would you answer this question?
