On this day, last year, I got my laser eye surgery.
I am reliving how my mom read out LinkedIn posts to me after my surgery…
(Sharing last year’s post)
After the surgery, my eyes were shut for ~3 days.
So, my mom read out my emails, texts & LinkedIn notifications twice a day.
While I heard her ‘narrate’ the posts, I realised how much the form of storytelling has evolved digitally.
That’s what I mean when I say: add value through your posts by sharing personal stories… they are the best kind to read.
But, this post is more than about LinkedIn.
Shoutout to my mom for keeping up with 100s of my LinkedIn notifications.
Shoutout to my mom for taking care of her grown-up daughter who had turned into a new born baby.
Shoutout to my mom for being the amazing woman she is & looking after me day & night.
Made it through this week only thanks to her 🙂
Psst… I also won the #careerstory competition! Thanks all for your kind wishes!

What are your special memories with your mom?
P.S. To describe my mother would be to write about a hurricane in its perfect power. Or the climbing, falling colours of a rainbow.
